I’ve been supporting families as a doula since 2020, and over the years I’ve had the privilege of being present for many different birth experiences. From planned caesarean births and inductions to vaginal, home and hospital births, I understand that no two births are the same. My role is to provide a calm, reassuring and non-judgemental presence, while supporting you to feel confident in your own choices.
Alongside my experience as a doula, I hold a degree in Public Health, which has strengthened my passion for improving health outcomes, promoting education and empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their care. I believe every person deserves to feel listened to, respected and fully supported - not only during birth, but throughout the journey into parenthood.
As your doula, I want to create a space where you feel safe, protected, comfortable and truly seen. I’m here to listen to you, support your choices, help you understand your options and provide reassurance when you need it most. My aim is for you to feel that you have someone in your corner, someone who will support you without judgement and remind you of your strength.
And when I’m not supporting families, you’ll probably find me reading a book and enjoying Ethiopian food! 🇪🇹❤️
Your voice matters. I promise to listen to your wishes, concerns and preferences without judgement. Your birth is yours, and I’m here to make sure you feel heard and respected throughout your journey.
You are more than a birth plan or a patient. I promise to see you — your individual needs, your fears, your hopes and your strengths. I want you to feel valued, understood and cared for.
You don’t have to navigate this journey alone. I’ll be there to provide calm, compassionate and continuous support — emotionally, physically and practically, helping you feel confident and reassured every step of the way.
My love language?
Ethiopian food and Matilda cake! Honestly, if there’s Ethiopian food involved, I’m probably already on my way.
A little bit about my journey
I reverted to Islam when I was 25, and my faith is an important part of who I am and the values I carry with me.
Favourite animal?
Definitely an elephant. I’ve always loved what they represent — strength, wisdom, loyalty and family.
My favourite saying?
“Humanity over everything.”
A simple reminder that kindness, compassion and how we treat one another should always come first.
